About Us Organized in 1987 to promote the welfare of purebred dogs, MAKC hosted its
first licensed All-Breed Dog Shows and Obedience Trials in 1996 and continues to
host two All-Breed Dog Shows & Obedience Trials every August, and two
weekends of All breed agility trials in February and June.
More than just a show giving organization, we strive to continuously improve our member's knowledge and to be of service to the sport of purebred dogs and the community in general through public service & education. As part of that mission, MAKC offers regular training classes and special interest events including an annual match, demonstrations and guest speakers on a wide range of topics.
