This class is designed for puppies just starting out or adult dogs needing a refresher.

The focus is on manners and behaving well at home and out in public. Skills taught include Focus, Walking politely on a leash, Coming when called, Leave it, and other basic behaviors.

Dogs less than 1 year of age will automatically be evaluated for the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program at no additional cost.
Therapy Dog Prep: Advanced Manners

$130 for 8 classes with Canine Good Citizen Evaluation on last class

Skills taught include greeting visitors at home politely, staying on a mat, down, going politely through a door, meeting friendly dogs, making vet visits less stressful, more walking politely on a loose leash, distractions, Focus, “Leave it”, coming when called, hand touch, chin rest.

Must have taken a Basic Manners class or be able to demonstrate that the dog has basic manners.
Instructor: Karen Smith
Karen has completed a certification program in Dog Training, and another in Canine Behavior. She is also an AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator, and an AKC trick dog evaluator.
