Rally became an official AKC titling event in 2005.  It is sometimes described as a combination of agility and obedience and is a fun and exciting team sport for dogs and their handlers! Dog and handler teams navigate a course with numbered signs indicating different exercises to perform such as Sit-Down-Sit, Figure 8, Send Over Jump, Spiral Left, Side Step Right, and Down on Recall.  Each run is a different series of exercises and the emphasis is on teamwork and having fun.
For more information see the official AKC website at https://www.akc.org/sports/rally/
Classes are ongoing and full.  The summer break will begin at the end of the current session.  Watch this space for the fall class schedule.
