General Membership meetings are held on the second Wednesday every other month (Jan, Mar, May, July, Sep, Nov) at 7:30PM at the Lang Building of the Marshfield Fairgrounds. Meetings may be attended in person or via Zoom when provided.
These privileges are available after 1 year of active membership.
Half-price Classes–Members must attend at least two general business meetings and work at least two events per year, OR attend one meeting a year and work at three events to be eligible for reduced class fees. This requirement may be waived under special circumstances by the board.
Club building access–Member may request a door code one year from the date they applied for membership. Members should contact the club secretary if they desire an access code.
Annual Awards for members who earn AKC titles on their dogs–Member who earn AKC titles on their dogs are eligible for an annual award Awards are based on the number of dogs earning titles for the period Nov.1 through Oct. 31.
Be a MAKC member in good standing for at least 1 year
Volunteer at a minimum of two club held events annually
Attend a minimum of two General membership meetings annually
MAKC Membership is available to anyone in good standing with the American Kennel Club who agrees to abide by our Constitution.
