About MAKC

Organized in 1987 to promote the welfare of purebred dogs, MAKC hosted its first licensed All-Breed Dog Shows and Obedience Trials in 1996 and continues to host a two-day AKC All-Breed Dog Shows & Obedience Trials in July. MAKC has since added two AKC All-Breed agility trials held in March and June, along with a two-day AKC All-Breed Obedience and Rally trial in September.
More than just a show giving organization, we strive to provide service and education to our members and the general public by offering seminars and educational training classes in agility, conformation, manners, obedience, rally and scent work.
Members are rewarded each year for their achievements and sportsmanlike conduct at our annual meeting.
